SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Christine Kiefer’s parents know their daughter has a shopping problem, but they don’t understand why she can’t just do porn like other college coeds instead of selling her blood plasma twice a week to fund it. “It’s embarrassing,” says Christine’s mother as she shows us the piles of bags from Dollar Tree and Dollar General that fill her daughters bedroom shaking her head in disappointment. “We didn’t raise her this way,” she says. “Shopping at discount stores and clearance tables. She could make so much more if she did porn.” Mr. Kiefer nods in agreement. “I tried to run the numbers with her,” he says. “To show her that she could shop at more upscale stores like Old Navy or Target instead of Family Dollar if she made just one movie a month but she doesn’t get it.”
It’s not that Christine disagrees with her parents but she figures that donating plasma is a better fit for her right now. “I just don’t want to work that hard for extra spending money,” she explains. “This (donating plasma) is only two days a week for an hour or so each time, and I get to lay down the entire time.” But Christine is not ruling out porn ever, but right now she wants to concentrate on school, shopping and growing her social media.
“My YouTube channel has over 200 subscribers and has only been live for 4 years,” she says. Her most popular vlogs feature her hooked up to a plasma donation machine. Her latest reached a whopping 16 views and she is trying to double that in the next 24 – 36 months in the hopes of landing a sponsor or two from the increased exposure. Her only regret is that she is only able to donate plasma twice a week.
